Founding a GbR online
A civil-law partnership (GbR) can be established easily and legally securely online. All that is required is the conclusion of a partnership agreement. The contract does not require any special form and can even be concluded verbally.
Who can form a GbR?
Any person can set up a GbR, regardless of their nationality.
What technical requirements do I need to set up a GbR?
All you need for online incorporation is Internet access and an e-mail inbox. Legal advice is usually provided by telephone. However, it is also possible to hold meetings by video.
How does the online formation of a GbR work?
After you have commissioned us, we will draw up your articles of association in individual consultation with you. Once the contract is ready, you will receive it by email. After signing the contract, you have founded your own GbR.
What does it cost to set up a GbR?
In comparison to GmbH and UG (haftungsbeschränkt), setting up a GbR involves comparatively low costs. No minimum capital is required. -The founders are free to decide whether to provide capital, goods, services or even no contribution at all. For a GmbH, on the other hand, you have to pay 25,000 euros plus formation costs.

How about a limited company?
If you are not put off by the start-up costs and are prepared to invest 25,000 euros, you can set up a GmbH online. Another key advantage of a GmbH is the limited liability of the shareholders.
Not enough capital for the GmbH?
If a GmbH is too expensive, you have the option of founding a UG (haftungsbeschränkt) online. Although the UG is equally complex to set up, you only need to provide capital of one euro.
